AI prospecting that refuses to hallucinate.

Most AI outreach tools invent "recent posts" that don't exist and "news items" that never happened. Prospect Engine cites every fact back to source material you provided, or honestly admits it has nothing to say.

Quick Answer

The Prospect Engine is a complimentary AI prospecting tool from AI-Disruptors that finds and researches potential customers with sourced, verifiable results, built to refuse to hallucinate. It runs sourced research on companies and contacts so you get real, checkable information instead of made-up names, and it requires no signup.

The honest reason,
Most AI outreach tools sound personalized because they invent recent posts, fabricate news items, and hallucinate quotes. One bad email like that and your credibility is gone. Prospect Engine was built so that doesn't happen, to your prospects, or your reputation.
How It Works

Three steps. Zero fabrication.

Built around a single principle: the AI can only claim what you can verify. Source-citation isn't a feature, it's the architecture.

i

Paste real material

LinkedIn posts. News articles. Press releases. Job postings. Anything you've actually seen. The AI is forbidden from inventing. If you paste nothing, it returns industry-level context only, never personal claims.

ii

Receive a sourced 3×3

Three facts about the prospect. Each one cites which paste-block it came from, with a verbatim quote. Verified facts get a green tag. Inferred ones get amber, and openers will never reference them.

iii

Generate honest outreach

Three opener variants, each anchored to one verified fact with the source quote shown for audit. Copy what works, send it. If there's nothing to anchor to, the tool tells you instead of pretending.

What Prospect Engine refuses to do.

Most landing pages list features. This one lists what the tool deliberately won't do, because the absence is the value.

×
Won't invent recent activity

If you didn't paste a post, article, or quote, the AI will not pretend to have seen one. "They recently posted about X" only appears if you actually showed it the post.

×
Won't fabricate quotes

Direct quotes appear only when verbatim text exists in your source material. A code-level validation strips any quoted phrase that isn't traceable. The architecture refuses to lie, even if the prompt slips.

×
Won't blur verified vs. inferred

Every fact is tagged. Verified facts (from your paste) are green. Inferred patterns (from training data) are amber. Outreach openers can only reference green. No exceptions.

×
Won't store your prospect data

Everything lives in your browser's localStorage. No backend, no server, no SaaS database. Export to JSON anytime. Wipe it with one click. Nothing leaves your machine except API calls.

×
Won't pretend to be a CRM

Prospect Engine is an outreach tool, not a pipeline manager. Track 5-50 active prospects, draft personalized messages, move on. When you outgrow it, Strategy Studio is where the practice lives.

When You Outgrow This

Prospect Engine is the door. Strategy Studio is the room.

If you're running serious volume, managing a real client roster, sending proposals, tracking methodology, Prospect Engine is the wrong tool. Strategy Studio is the operating system for an entire AI consulting practice. Built by the same hand. Same anti-hallucination architecture. Different scope.

See Strategy Studio
  • 10 industry methodology templates for client-facing engagements
  • AI-powered proposal generation with version history and rollback
  • Sourced 3×3 research across an entire client roster, not one prospect at a time
  • Katalyst CRM integration for automated SDR handoff (v4.7)
  • Network Health dashboard with Givers Gain attribution (v4.8)
  • Founding cohort pricing available now, locked $97/mo for 12 months

Real questions.

The kind a thoughtful skeptic would ask before trusting a complimentary AI tool with their outreach.

What does "3×3" actually mean?
The 3×3 is a classic sales-research framework: three specific, recent facts about a prospect, gathered before any outreach. The idea has been in elite enterprise sales playbooks for decades: don't reach out cold without three real reasons to be reaching out to this person, right now. Prospect Engine modernizes it with AI structuring and adds one strict rule the original framework didn't have: every one of the three facts must cite where it came from. Pasted a LinkedIn post? That post is a source. Pasted an article? Same. The AI cannot produce a fact without one.
When you say "no hallucinations," what does that actually mean?
"Hallucination" is the technical term for when an AI confidently states something that isn't true: invented quotes, fabricated events, made-up statistics. Most AI outreach tools hallucinate constantly because they're optimized to sound personalized, not to be accurate. They'll cheerfully tell you "Sarah recently posted about lead-gen challenges" when she did no such thing.

Prospect Engine is built around a different principle: the AI can only state what your pasted source material proves. If you paste her real post, the tool can reference it. If you paste nothing, the tool tells you it has nothing to say, instead of inventing something. Three layers enforce this: a strict system prompt forbids fabrication, a code-level validation strips claims that lack a source quote, and the UI tags every fact as either Verified (traceable to your paste) or Inferred (general industry pattern). Outreach openers can only reference Verified facts. Empty output is preferred over wrong output.
If it's complimentary, what's the catch?
You bring your own Anthropic API key. Claude charges around 2-4¢ per research run on your account. AI-Disruptors doesn't take a cut: the tool runs on your key, hits the API directly (or via your own Cloudflare Worker), and writes nothing to any server. The "catch" is that I'm hoping you'll like the work enough to consider Strategy Studio when you're ready. That's it.
How is this different from ChatGPT or other AI prospecting tools?
Most AI prospecting tools optimize for impressive-sounding output. Ask one to research a prospect with no source material and it will confidently tell you about "their recent post", fabricated. Prospect Engine has a code-level validation layer that strips unsourced claims before you ever see them. The architecture refuses to lie, even when the AI is willing to.
Where does the source material come from if there's no scraping?
You. Manually. On purpose. Open a prospect's LinkedIn, copy their About section and recent posts, paste in. Read a relevant news article, paste the quotes that matter. This sounds like more work than it is, 90 seconds per prospect, and it produces dramatically better outreach than scraped data, because you've already filtered for relevance. (Also: scraping LinkedIn is against their TOS and unreliable. This way is honest and works.)
Can I use this without paying for a Claude account?
Anthropic does require a paid API account, but it's pay-as-you-go and minimal. You'll need to sign up at console.anthropic.com, add a credit card, and put $5 of credits on the account, that's about 200 prospect research runs. There's no monthly fee. Settings inside Prospect Engine walks you through getting the key.
Who built this?
David S. Josephson: founder of AI-Disruptors, an elite AI strategy and consulting practice. Prospect Engine was originally a personal tool for the practice, opened publicly because the anti-hallucination architecture turned out to be useful for anyone doing outreach. Strategy Studio is the larger, paid sibling, for full consulting practices.
Will this stay complimentary?
Yes, indefinitely. No account, no upgrade tier, no premium features locked behind a paywall. The honest economics: you pay for your own Claude usage, AI-Disruptors pays nothing to host (it's a static HTML file). The tool exists to demonstrate how I think: if it earns me a Strategy Studio conversation eventually, that's enough.
